The Master Edition, masterfully manufactured in the parquet works, every floor a unique strictly limited piece. The uniqueness of the finished surfaces, the fascinating, shimmering colours, are only revealed when lighted. Light awakens the surfaces and brings the material and its characteristics to life. This suspenseful tension results in a never-ending interplay full of individuality.

Torben Hansen, co-founder, managing director, and head visionary
Schotten & Hansen was founded by Robert Schotten and Torben Hansen in 1984. With head offices at Pfaffenwinkel/Peiting in Bavaria the Manufaktur employs around 110 workers. The company has agencies and showrooms in England, Spain, the United States, Dubai and Hong Kong. For many years, Schotten & Hansen has had international collaborative ventures with leading architects, such as Antonio Citterio or Lord Norman Foster.
