Dynamic Frame
In Dynamic Frame's new office, the parquet flooring provides the perfect setting for a lounge
In Zurich’s former Binz industrial area, now a vibrant creative district, Dynamic Frame moved into its new ground-floor offices. The architecturally striking new building features terraced elements and flexible interior spaces. Many surfaces were intentionally left in a refined raw state, with exposed concrete walls and polished cement screed defining the look.

A distinctive design detail is the lounge area’s 4:3 surface ratio, inspired by classic film formats. This deliberate design gesture pays tribute to Dynamic Frame’s core business and adds a subtle, symbolic presence to the space.
The new office brings together an open-plan workspace, a fully equipped kitchen with a generous dining area, an editing suite, a small cinema, storage, and the space's centerpiece: a lounge area with a bespoke amphitheatre.

The parquet floor clearly sets the lounge area apart from the industrial setting with its warm appearance. Laid in a classic shipdeck pattern, the approximately 40 m² real-wood surface feels unexpectedly dynamic. This effect comes from the grain running diagonally to the laying direction. By rotating the wood grain by 45° relative to the plank, Spinpark, designed by the Swiss architecture and design studio atelier oï, creates entirely new floor visuals.
