Apfelhotel Torgglerhof
A wellness retreat among apple trees
With the Apfelhotel, a young generation of hoteliers has set out to transform a place shaped by history, in a truly idyllic location, into a distinctive holiday oasis of its own. Over recent years, the existing buildings have been gradually refurbished and extended with great charm and attention to detail, and in 2020 three new, independent buildings, the garden suites, were built to the east of the ensemble, adding 18 guest rooms.
Together with the architecture and design studio noa from Bolzano, a nature-inspired hotel with restaurant facilities and a wellness area has been created, stimulating the senses and delighting guests.
Inside the spacious garden suites and lofts, nature plays an important role, with plenty of wood, textiles made from natural fibres and earthy tones shaping the cohesive interior concept, complemented perfectly by the installed Bauwerk Parkett.

Around 850 square metres of Bauwerk Parkett were installed in the new garden suites at the Apfelhotel. Some suites make use of the generous volume beneath the open gable with a cosy sleeping gallery, accessed via an internal staircase that also provides space for storage and shelving, and here too the high craft and quality of Bauwerk Parkett’s woodwork becomes evident: the stair treads and landings are made from the same wood as the parquet, with the same colour and surface treatment, as well as an identical level of sheen.
