Das elegante Gebäude aus dem 19. Jahrhundert, ein historischer Palazzo in Agra im Tessin, wurde von 2021 bis 2024 aufwendig restauriert. Der Palazzo liegt in einer privilegierten Lage mit vielen Sonnenstunden. Ursprünglich 1845 von Don Alberto Poncini als Familiensitz erbaut, diente das Gebäude später als Hotel für Angehörige von Tuberkulosekranken und anschliessend als Ferienheim, bevor diese Nutzung in den 1980er Jahren endete.
The successful combination of historic heritage, modern design, and a nature-connected architecture turns the restored palazzo into a visionary living concept that builds a bridge between past and future.
Across 2,400 square metres, the palazzo now offers 16 individually designed, modern apartments over four floors. A leisure area with an outdoor pool and a garden kitchen adds an extra layer of comfort. The interiors of the palazzo combine natural materials with a modern, harmonious aesthetic.
Our parquet floors from the Villapark collection in Oak Crema were chosen for their natural appearance and long-lasting quality. Thanks to the B-Protect® surface finish, the wood retains its natural, matte look while also being UV-resistant and easy to maintain. What makes it special is that the wide planks from Bauwerk Parkett were not only installed in the classic way on the floor, but also grace the high ceiling, creating an exceptional spatial experience.
