Remise Berlin
From a functional backyard building to an individual home
At the beginning of the 20th century, the so-called coach houses in Berlin’s back courtyards were used as sheds, workshops or storage spaces. Today, they are often architectural gems in the midst of the city.
The light creates different levels of brightness on the parquet, accentuates the wood grain and gives the floor a lively appearance.
The floor covering is continued on the staircase to the upper floor: this, too, was realised with a solution from Bauwerk Parkett and has the same colour, the same surface treatment, and the same level of sheen as the herringbone parquet on the ground floor.

Alongside its pleasant feel and timeless design, a clear design language now underscores the coherent overall impression of a long-held desire for a home of one’s own, finally brought to life.
