Right of cancellation
You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the final goods.
To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by means of a clear declaration. You may use the attached model cancellation form for this purpose, although this is not mandatory.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient that you send your notification concerning the exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.
Exercising your right of cancellation
To exercise your right of cancellation, please use our contact form and select “Online shop” as the type of enquiry. In your message, please include the order date, order number and, where applicable, the reason for your cancellation (e.g. defective goods).
Alternatively, you may use the model cancellation form and send it by email to shop@bauwerk-parkett.com or by post to the address provided.
Once we have received your cancellation request, we will review your case, inform you about the next steps and confirm your return.
Consequences of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your cancellation of this contract.
For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. Under no circumstances will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever occurs earlier.
You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the cancellation of this contract.

The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired.
You are responsible for the direct costs of returning the goods. In the case of damaged, defective or incorrectly delivered items, we will provide you with a return shipping label.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this loss in value results from handling that was not necessary to examine the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
General information
Please avoid damaging or soiling the goods. If possible, return the goods to us in their original packaging, including all accessories and packaging components. Where necessary, please use suitable protective outer packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please ensure that the goods are adequately protected against transport damage using appropriate packaging.
Please do not return the goods freight collect.
Please note that compliance with the two points above is not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of your right of cancellation.
