The refined atmosphere of the interior, which enjoys ample natural light thanks to the large windows and is predominantly white, could really only accommodate a high-quality, light wooden floor; this furthermore had to suggest a certain sense of timelessness, a positive neutrality that would underpin the impact of completely different individual pieces of furniture as well as families of furniture, which would change over the year.

Having an installation plan is always a good idea and also helpful in this instance. A few planks were also laid out first to get a better feel for the area. Creating a direct connection and continuing up the stairs to the first floor posed a further challenge - one that was resolved perfectly.

The 3-layer parquet Casapark was supplied in 2.2-metre-long 1-strip-planks, bevelled on two sides, in widths of 139, 181 and 221 mm.
