Krabbelstube Park
Natural materials and thoughtful design create an environment suited to children
In Bischofshofen, the architects at Hochhäusl; Moosbrugger realised a contemporary single-storey new building that blends harmoniously into the surrounding natural landscape. The facade is clad in traditionally styled larch shingles, giving the building a warm, crafted character.
Long plank formats from Casapark and white walls create a calm design, as the children bring enough liveliness and colour into the rooms.
Six group rooms provide space for children up to the age of three, complemented by two movement rooms, a light-filled sleeping zone, and a dedicated children’s kitchen that enables shared cooking and hands-on experiences.
The robust Casapark parquet is ideal for the active everyday life in the group rooms, and the continuous installation extending into the staircases underscores the architectural clarity while standing for the highest level of craftsmanship.
