Healthy living at a boarding school in Graubünden
The newly built, imposing five-storey building «Chesa Urezza» accommodates 50 practical yet high-quality furnished boarding rooms, as well as various common areas and classrooms for art and music education, and the architect Reto Maurizio deliberately adopted traditional architectural elements from the existing buildings for «Chesa Urezza», reinterpreting the historic building style in a contemporary way.
With around 300 students from more than 30 nations, the private school places great importance on quality, ecology, and aesthetics.
Loud and unwanted footfall noise was an issue in the busy areas of the private boarding school. Thanks to Cleverpark 1250 Silente, not only is the impact sound significantly reduced, but also the airborne sound, which is particularly important in music rooms: when reverberation is effectively lowered there, the sound can unfold fully, while the room is acoustically insulated and adjacent areas are not disturbed by noise.

The rooms in the new building stand out for the high quality and value of the materials used, as well as for the impressive views of the imposing mountains and the River Inn winding its way through the valley.
