Perfect framework conditions: the acclaimed architect firm balbek bureau has created a multi-faceted office for the film producer Dynamic Frame. Its lounge area featuring Spinpark flooring creates a warm contrast to the space's industrial design , making it an inviting hub that fosters interaction and creativity.

Dynamic Frame’s new office space is located on the ground floor of a building located in Binz, a formerly industrial neighbourhood that has transformed into a vibrant creative quarter in the last few years. The architecturally striking new building stands out with its terrace-shaped elements and flexible interiors. Many surfaces were left in a refined, but raw state, with exposed concrete walls and polished cement screed dominating the aesthetic.

The work carried out by Dynamic Frame’s team of 14 is as dynamic and agile as its name suggests. The film professionals are in constant motion and spend a lot of time on the road. As part of its concept for the office, the balbek bureau architect firm developed a multifunctional and adaptable space that meets Dynamic Frame’s various needs. The new office is an open space with workstations, a fully equipped kitchen with a large dining area, an editing studio, a small cinema, a storage space, and the centrepiece of the whole office: the lounge area, which features a custom-built amphitheatre.

Thanks to its warm look, the parquet surface in the lounge area clearly contrasts with its industrial surroundings. Arranged in a classic shipdeck pattern, the almost 40-square-metre authentic-oak surface surprises and delights with its unusual, dynamic appearance. This is a result of the wood's grain being oriented diagonally to the direction of the pattern. Turning the grain of the wood 45° relative to the plank, Spinpark, developed by architect and design firm atelier oï, opens up completely new possibilities for floor optics. A noteworthy design detail is the 4:3 aspect ratio in the lounge area, inspired by classic film formats. Its conscious inclusion by the designer is a deliberate nod to Dynamic Frame's core business, bringing a symbolic presence to the space.
